This page explains how refunds are described in the current Wayback Tools payment and delivery flow.

Failed paid restorations

If a paid Single Recovery restoration fails, the price for that failed website is automatically refunded. When a multi-site Single Recovery order has mixed outcomes, failed websites are refunded and ready restorations remain available.

Archive limitations

Archive.org can be incomplete. A delivered restoration may include a recovery-gap report when the archive lacks pages or assets needed for a complete historical recreation.
