This page describes the public data categories used by the Wayback Tools frontend and restoration workflow.
Restoration data
The restoration flow uses submitted domains, selected snapshot dates or Wayback URLs, email addresses for delivery, job status, preview state, and recovery-output references.
Account and payment data
Account sessions support authenticated subscription workflows. Payments are processed through Stripe-powered checkout and billing surfaces.
Attribution and analytics
The frontend stores first-touch landing context for attribution and does not infer organic search keywords from search referrers. Campaign keywords are recorded only when explicitly supplied through campaign data such as utm_term.
